We, Women of all origins and all nations living on the part of Turtle Island, declare the following:
We commit ourselves to respect the Great Law of Peace and the Two Ways Wampum initiated by the Peoples Originating from the Haudenosaunee Five Nations, known as Mohawk/Iroquois, from the Turtle Island. This law and this treaty are the official framework of governance of this territory to which we are all legally and morally bound since the arrival of the colonizing forces on Turtle Island.
The Great Law of Peace is rooted in the natural female wisdom of creation handed down from generation to generation through matrilineal authority. It ensures balance by being in perfect synchronism with the laws of Nature. The Wampum Two-Way is the vehicle. It symbolizes its actualization in the unification of peoples with respect, openness and harmony. In addition, he demonstrates that this ever-evolving law is a living and vibrant extension of humanity.
This law and treaty have never been respected by the political regimes established under the British crown. This noncompliance is undeniably one of the main sources and causes of pervasive corruption in our society. All past and present actions committed to the detriment of the environment go against these basic and unalterable ancestral agreements. In addition, interference with Native Peoples, including the elective system of band councils and all the structures imposed by them, is illegal.
To restore integrity, we demand that the British crown and any other nation in the world come to illegally impose their political regime on Turtle Island and cease the massive destruction of our Mother Earth. We seek reparation for the ravages caused by the abusive exploitation of the vital forces of Nature, called resources, as well as for any interference in the ancestral culture of these peoples.
We declare ourselves allied sisters of the Original Peoples and formally refuse any form of control over them. We demand that their title of Guardians of the Earth be recognized immediately.
We are committed to honoring the responsibilities incumbent on us all as official and legal signatories of the Wampum Peace Treaty at Two Paths. We denounce the non-respect of this treaty which generates unhealthy human relations.
We are committed to restoring the only legal decision-making process created under the Great Law of Peace, which represents the true voice of the people in the form of traditional councils. Since each voice is respected and honored and all decisions are made by consensus on the basis of the ancestral knowledge of the Original People, this process allows the immediate application of the solutions derived from these councils.
We reject any form of genetic and chemical manipulation in the agri-food and pharmaceutical sectors. We demand that the development of unhealthy strategies imposed on the population and all living beings be stopped at the expense of the laws of Nature.
We refuse any form of manipulation with regard to education, information and the military industry. We demand that any dishonest action whatsoever be stopped. Hypersexualization of our children, conditioning, enslavement and impoverishment of the population, globalization and other forms of alienation are totally unacceptable.
We condemn any current and future colonization initiative, including those planned on the Moon and in space by corporations. We demand the integral mobilization of these energies and resources to the restoration of the critical state of health of our Mother Earth and its protection. We dissociate ourselves from all maneuvers that generate war, an immoral and cruel act, and demand that they be entirely devoted to the restoration of peace on a planetary scale.
We declare that we choose peace and refuse war, that we choose integrity and reject corruption, and that we choose love and reject hatred. We declare to be life givers, as recognized by the original peoples of Turtle Island, and we refuse to be life takers.
We affirm our personal and collective freedom and we refuse any form of religious influence.
We, women of all origins and all nations living on the part of Turtle Island called Quebec, invite people from around the world to join us. We affirm that it is in the survival of our humanity that the entire planet will join this declaration to restore stability, balance and peace.
The exclusive allegiance to the Great Law of Peace and Wampum Two Lane and the alliance with the Native Peoples represent the greatest gifts we can offer to future generations and to all forms of life on Earth.
