Greetings in Peace and Friendship Mrs. Daniela Bas Director Division for Social Policy and development (DSPD) Department of Economic and social affairs (DESA) United Nations. We write regarding a travesty of justice that had taken place against us by the bureaucracy of the UN at the Permanent forum on Indigenous Issues. We had presented on Thursday May 4, 2017, as a side event within the Permanent Forum of Indigenous peoples, a comparative science teaching and speaking circle entitled "Bridging the Gap of Knowledge between two opposite identities. Comparative science Moon Teachings" in order to bridge the gap of knowledge between the native and non native people, in accordance with the Great Law of Peace and the Two Row Wampum Peace Treaty in the Amartya Sen room, FF building 304 east 45st, 10th floor, at 1:15 pm. We write to you requesting the appropriate explanations as to why myself, Stuart Myiow, speaker representative of the Kanienke’ha’ka traditional Council, was not approved for the main event, even though I was the first name submitted on the participants list (see screen print from the website at facebook: Longhouse Stuart Myiow). In spite of the fact that we sent emails and messages to different people, no one ever answered (all of this is documented in our corresponding emails, and can be presented upon request). On Thursday morning, May 4th, at 10am in the UN headquarters, where the permanent forum on indigenous peoples was being held, two of our representatives (Ranenhenhawi Myiow and Edith Mora Castelan) spoke with three people in hopes that they could provide us with an explanation as to why our representative was still not approved (even though the representative was scheduled to speak there). All three had referred us to ‘Mr, Brodie’ who was seemingly the only person in charge of registrations but who was not available to speak to us as he was ‘busy with the recommendations’. No one could give us any reason as to why I, as a representative was not approved. Finally upon speaking with the person (no name tag to identify) who was in charge of the speakers list on the main floor of the event and explaining our situation to her and asking her for Mr. Brodie's contact, she explained that she didn't feel comfortable giving Mr. Brodie's contact to our representatives. She then finally called Mr. Brodie directly right in front of our two representatives, where he (Mr. Brodie) then gave the excuse that could not be factually or chronologically possible of: ‘there was too many people in the list that we had submitted (1 month earlier) and that is why he (I, Stuart Myiow) was not approved’. 1. Why was I, as representative not approved, in spite of being the first person to register on the list? 2. Why was everybody else approved except myself? 3. Why did ‘Mr. Brodie’ lie with such a non-sense excuse? 4. Is it the policy of the UN to take it upon themselves to decide who should be omitted from a list of presented delegates, when as Mr. Brodie says' there are too many people submitted? 5. Why did Mr. Brodie not contact us to let us know that we had submitted too many people, so WE could decide who would be omitted from OUR list of delegates and not have the machination of the UN decide it for us? (we are certain this has not happened to any other person or group). 6. Why and how could such a travesty occur when we had submitted one month prior to event and had numerous correspondence trying to resolve this simple issue? Unless a proper and satisfactory response is given to us on all these issues, we will have no other choice but to understand that I (as representative) was not approved, with the intent to censor our voice and message from being heard on this single most important environmental issue the world has ever faced. As a result of this derogation, our message was prevented from being presented at the "forum" due to the highly sensitive nature of our demand to have the UN declare the Moon to be a World Heritage Site in order to stop the pending colonization, development, industrialization and militarization of our GrandMother Moon (which clearly, the UN, the world bank and the world monetary fund is on the organizing level of, unless you can show otherwise). Since Mr. Brodie has no way of knowing our Speaker/Representative (myself), it goes without saying that Mr. Brodie cannot have any personal knowledge of or reason to take it upon, solely just himself, to make such a decision. In order for such impunity to take place within the UN structure, with the sole outcome of preventing the most important environmental information from being presented to the world (especially when no one else on the planet is identifying this), there clearly would have to be someone else advising/conspiring with him and must obviously lead right back to people within my community who are working with the UN agenda. We want to know who, what, where, when and why this has occurred and we demand it to be corrected by providing us with the space to address the UN General Assembly on this most urgent issue facing humanity. If you identify that this was a simple error made by Mr. Brodie (which is bureaucratically impossible), then we demand that the space be made available to us within the UN general assembly (BEFORE JUNE) to address this most important issue to the PEOPLE of the world. Although the obvious is obvious, we do not want to jump to conclusions and await correction of this situation from you or whoever is the necessary person to deal with every point that we present here, we are looking forward to conclusion on this issue. Most of all, please direct this information to the proper office for us to initiate the process of establishing the Moon as a "WORLD HERITAGE SITE"!
