Recognition from the General Consul of the Venezuelan

The Kanienkehaka (Mohawk) Traditional Council received a distinguished recognition from the General Consul of the Venezuelan Consulate in Montreal last November. Here is what it says:

On the occasion of the Day of Indigenous Resistance, October 12th 2017 The General Consul of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Montreal, Canada, grants :

Recognition to Kahnawake, Mohawk Indigenous Community of the Five Nations Reserves in Canada and its highest representative, Stuart Myiow Jr. for his great struggles throughout history to protect the Kaianeraserahkowa law, « The Great Law of Peace », a political and spiritual constitution of the Five Nations, which represents the balance between men and women so necessary for historical times that we live in the entire planet. And by his Solidarity and Support with the Venezuelan people, who remain in struggle for his Peace and Sovereignty, and for his admiration and affection to who is our guide through his great spirit, our Supreme Commander and Eternal, Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias.
